Former BVB teammates Götze and Hummels may well on World Cup

In 2014, Mario Götze and Mats winked Hummels with the German national team in Rio de Janeiro the World Cup. In recent years, however, the duo in the DFB team became more and more in the background and was finally no longer considered. Nevertheless, the former BVB teammates may seem to hope for a ticket for the Winter World Cup in Qatar.

Like “Mats winked Image” reports, national coach Hansi Flick can be open to many options for its nomination for the upcoming World Cup. Only a trunk of 15, 16 players should not participate “Normally”.

Behind it there should be many thought games. Even for Mario Götze and Mats Hummels, who played no role in the national team in recent months, the door is supposedly not yet.

Hummels had celebrated his comeback after the interim sausage by Joachim Löw at the European Championship last summer. But after mixed services, the BVB defender did not make it in the team of Löw Successor Hansi Flick.

Hummels and Götze last not considered

“Currently he does not have this level at the moment, this quality in his game,” the national coach had criticized the 33-year-old last December in the interview with “RTL / NTV”. In recent months, Hummels at Borussia Dortmund could not always build on his strong ideas of past days, so he has to increase for a renewed DFB return.

At Mario Götze, the last international match is still longer. Lastly, the Rio hero wore the eagle on the chest on 14 November 2017 in the friendly match against France. Since joining PSV Eindhoven, the 29-year-old makes a better impression than in previous years at BVB.
