U -turn? Ronaldo interprets United

After the last Premier League home game of the season with Manchester United, soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo thanks the club’s supporters on social media.

“Once again great support from the stands,” wrote Ronaldo after the 3-0 against FC Brentford on Instagram.

The Portuguese, who contributed the goal to 2-0 in the Old Trafford, thanked the “incredible fans who endured a difficult season with us and never let us down”.

The tabloid “Mirror” had speculated on the weekend about early farewell Ronaldo in the summer. It didn’t sound like that in the instagram message of the striker. “Our goal is to get better every day,” wrote Ronaldo, “so that we can achieve what we all want: fame for Man United!”

Manchester United will conclude this season without a title and, as the table sixth, has no chance of qualifying for the Champions League.

In the summer, the previous Ajax coach Erik Ten Hag is followed by interim coach Ralf Rangnick. Rangnick will then only work as a consultant for the Red Devils, he takes over the Austrian national team as a coach.
