FC Bayern Munich: Gavi is still in focus
FC Bayern Munich is apparently still interested in Gavi from FC Barcelona. If the contract extension of the 17-year-old midfielder fails beyond 2023, according to the Mundo Deportivo, the Munich team would be willing to pay their exit clause of 50 million euros.
The talks between the club and Gavis consultant Ivan de la Pena are currently stalling. “He has been available for a long time. We have not received a message that he accepted it. We made our position clear, but the player’s consultant does not agree,” said President Joan Laporta at l’ESPORTIU.
De la Pena countered at the mundo Deportivo that he was waiting for an improved barca offer. This was agreed two weeks ago at a meeting with sports director Mateu Alemany. In addition to FC Bayern, FC Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested.
